Anyone with a computer and a mic can call themselves a studio. In fact a lot of studios in the Hampton Roads area are just that.  It’s the experience and skill that sets the amateurs apart from the professionals.  Our engineers and producers are musicians like yourself.  They know what is needed to make a great sounding recording.

     Our staff has been producing up and coming artists for the last 16 years and are continuing to do so today. In case you need reassurance, our engineers have worked with artists such as Tom Petty, Third Eye Blind, Paul Benton, Trae Worsham and Winger (if you really want to go back that far into the 80’s).

     All recording sessions include an engineer/producer at no extra cost to you.  We will pair your style and or needs with one of our talented engineers/producers at the time of your booking.  If you are a rock band we will not pair you with one of our engineers/producers who specialize in hip-hop. Likewise, what good is bringing the “heat” if your engineer has to stop every 5 minutes to ask exactly what you mean by that.  If you decide, you may choose one of the producers from our extended IRS network or even bring in your own producer to help tailor your sound.  Outside producer fees are the responsibility of the artist and are not covered in our studio rates.
