          “PER SONG” PACKAGE - $180 per song    

     Why should you worry about watching the clock. Counting the minutes (and your money) until your session is over can be very distracting and many artists often find that they are running out of time before their song is complete. Here at IRS we have put together a “per song” package that allows you to watch the tracks and not the clock. The “PER SONG PACKAGE” includes the following:

• Tracking and Mix-down time as needed (see note*)
• Experienced Producer/Engineer
• Grand Piano/keyboards/electric & acoustic guitars/amps/effects available for use
• Free CD-R Master (extra CD-R masters are $5 each)
• Free CD-R or DVD backup of your project (size permitting…your external hard drive may be required)

* NOTE: All songs are expected to be “record ready”. All intros, solos, vocals, endings should be established and practiced before hand. The studio “per song” rate is not intended for unlimited studio time. The engineer and or producer has discretion in the matter of deciding if studio time is being used for rehearsal and or basic song development.  Extra time added due to those reasons will be billed at the hourly rate of $35 an hour.

     This package was especially made with the Rapper/Hip Hop artist in mind. Bring us your backing tracks and record your vocals on a wide selection of studio microphones until we find the right fit for your voice. Most studios just throw their favorite mic on their artists but we here at IRS know that each voice is unique. What mic sounds great on one artist’s voice might not sound great on yours. We will find the right mic for you and record as many vocal and ad lib tracks (within reason) as it takes to get the sound you will be happy with. The “URBAN ARTIST PACKAGE” includes the following:

• Vocal Tracking and Mix-down time as needed (see note*)
• Experienced Producer/Engineer
• Digital Processing to include pitch correction if needed
• Free CD-R Master (extra CD-R masters are $5)
• Free CD-R or DVD backup of your project

* NOTE: All songs are expected to be “record ready”. The studio “Urban Artist” rate is not intended for unlimited studio time. All lyrics should be finalized before the start of the session. The only exception is “ad libs“.  We understand the impromptu nature of that particular style of recording and will allow time for creative process.  The engineer and or producer has discretion in the matter of deciding if studio time is being used for writing and or basic song development. Extra time added due to those reasons will be billed at the hourly rate of $35 an hour.

     So, you have a few songs and want to start shopping yourself around and/or want get something in the hands of your eager fans. Or, you may have a few great songs but are still working on the rest of the songs for your album. Then this package was made just for you. Take your best three songs and get them out there to start the buzz for your upcoming full length CD. It is often better to have three solid great sounding recordings than 8-10 mediocre recordings due to money and time constraints. The “DEMO/MAXI-SINGLE PACKAGE” includes the following:

• Tracking and Mix-down time as needed (see note*)
• Experienced Producer/Engineer
• Grand Piano/keyboards/electric & acoustic guitars/amps/effects available for use
• Free CD-R Master (extra CD-R masters are $5 each)
• Free CD-R or DVD backup of your project (size permitting…your external hard drive may be required)

    “FULL CD” PACKAGE - $1400 for up to 10 songs 

     This is it kids. The big enchilada of recording deals. We can provide you with all the studio time, within reason, you need to record your full production CD. No, you can’t have your mail forwarded to our studio, but you will probably learn how to run all the equipment we have in our studio in the amount of time you spend here. Why not learn as you record….who knows, by the time you are ready to record your next album you may be able to do it all yourself (don’t tell the owner I said that). The “FULL CD PACKAGE” includes the following:

• Tracking and Mix-down time for up to 10 Songs (see note*)
• Experienced Producers/Engineers
• Grand Piano/keyboards/electric & acoustic guitars/amps/effects available for use
• Free CD-R Master for each band member (extra CD-R masters are $5 each)
• Free backup of your project files on your external hard drive. (External hard drives available for $60)

* NOTE: Tracking and Mix-down time for 10 songs is estimated at 60 hours. In our experience, the amount of time needed to record and mix one song is 6 hours. Some songs may take longer and some may take less than the 6 hour average.  If you have less than 10 songs you plan on recording, you still have up to 60 hours for those songs.  The maximum allowed time does not change.   Any songs or time above and beyond the 10 song or 60 hour limits will be charged at the “PER SONG PACKAGE” rate of $180 per song.
